Hi Yasmin Reyazuddin,

I am contacting you because you have participated in one of our previous studies (conducted by Uran Oh and Professor Leah Findlater). If you would prefer to be removed from our mailing list, please let me know.

Our research team at the Human-Computer Interaction Lab at the University of Maryland is studying how to make the next generation of mobile and wearable computing technology more accessible.

For this study, we are recruiting participants who are 18 years of age or older. You will be asked to complete tasks with a wrist-mounted wearable computing device. The tasks will be typical of daily activities, including pointing to items or tracing paths on a touchscreen. We are also collecting basic demographic information and feedback on the mobile devices.

This study will be 2 hours long and will be conducted at our lab on the University of Maryland, College Park campus. In rare circumstances, we may be able to arrange a location that is more convenient to you. We will compensate you $30 plus an extra $30 to help cover travel costs if the session is at a location you do not normally visit. You may choose to quit the study at any time.
