What model phone do you have. I have 10 on a 5s and the bar code reader did not load or for some reason, does not show on the menu.

Subject: [Md-sligo] App helped me find the right bus stop

Fellow Federationists,

I wanted to mention a free app that helped me out today. I used it on the iPhone.

I was taking a bus today that I don't usually use from a bus stop I never used before.

I found the bus shelter but wasn't sure if the bus I wanted stopped there.

The Seeing AI app, which is free, allowed me to hear the information on the bus stop sign. I pointed my iPhone around until the iPhone camera found the print on the sign. When the camera found the print, it read it automatically. This confirmed I was at the right bus stop.

This app also includes a bar code reader for newer iPhones which helps me in the kitchen.

Seeing AI does not replace my beloved KNFB Reader but it certainly helped me out today. In case you hadn't come across this tool, I wanted to mention it.

Best,
Brian
