Just a reminder to please let me know by the end of the day Thursday,
December 2, 2021, if you plan to use the transportation from the NFB to
attend the memorial service for Mary Nichols this Saturday, December 4.

 

Also, below is Mary's obituary.

 

On Sunday, November 28th 2021; loving wife of Orlo Nichols, Jr.; cherished
mother of Kim Nichols and wife Elisabeth, Mark Nichols, Ellen Tarr and
husband Peter, Sarah Nichols; devoted grandmother of Benjamin, Howard,
Maxwell and the late Vincent; went to be with her Savior. She is also
survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Harvest Presbyterian Church, on Saturday
December 4th 2021, at 1PM    <https://www.harvestchurchpca.org/>

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mary's
life to: Harvest Presbyterian Church - 11510 Johns Hopkins Road, Clarksville

Hello everyone,

Again, it is so sad to share the passing of Mary Nichols.  She and Orlo were
married for 54 years.  Many of us got to know them and their family over the
decades.  Mary will be missed very much.

 

The family is holding private services and interment this Friday, December
3.  However, there will be a memorial service that is open to all this
Saturday, December 4, beginning at 1PM.  The location is below.  We will
have an NFB van for those who would like transportation from Baltimore.  It
will leave the NFB building at 12:15PM.  We expect to return around 4PM.
Those interested in taking the van should let me know by Thursday evening.

I'm very sad to share that yesterday, Mary Nichols lost her long battle with
cancer.  Mary has been a long-time member of the Greater Baltimore Chapter
and Seniors Division.  We will share information about services as they
become available.  Please keep her husband, Orlo Nichols, and their family
in your thoughts and prayers.
