Last year I wrote a blog post

both the Pearl as well as OpenBook which you are free to read. In spite of
my criticisms of the current state of OpenBook I still feel that it has
tremendous benefits if you need to scan printed text on a Windows machine.
While the blog post discusses my experiences using OpenBook on Windows 10 it
should be said that the software installs and works just as well on Windows
11. If you were considering purchasing this software doing so during the
month of July would be the best time to do so considering its price during
