A couple of years ago, I went to one of these Wrightslaw conferences, and it was excellent. Especially good for the "new" parent with a younger child who is just starting to understand the advocacy process and how to negotiate an IEP, etc. Highly recommend it.

Please see the below email about a Wrightslaw conference in the DC area. I really wish they were coming to Texas!

Join national expert Peter Wright, Esq. for a Wrightslaw Special Education Law and Advocacy training just outside of Washington, DC in Waldorf, MD.

Newport News (VA).

The Center for Children, Inc. is sponsoring this event.

"What a marvelous conference! I often leave sped presentations angry and/or guilty because of all the things that were done or not done. This time I left encouraged, inspired and armed!" - Melissa, advocate from Maryland
