Braille Book Swap*

Do you have a braille book for which you would like to find another home?
This is the perfect time to participate in our Maryland LBPD Book Swap!
Send in a braille book and receive one in return from a fellow LBPD patron.
The braille book must be in good condition with no stains or torn pages.
Braille board books, picture books, early readers, and chapter books are
welcome.

*Here’s how it works:*

   - Send no more than 2 braille books (all volumes must be included) to
   the following address:

*Attn: Youth Librarian*

*415 Park Avenue*

*Baltimore, Maryland 21201*


   - Write “Free Matter for the Blind” on your package to receive free
   postage.
   - Take it to your local post office. All books must be received by *December
   8th*.
   - Register for the book swap using the following link:
   https://forms.gle/PDvP3gynsdJbdPKc9.
   - A list of all books will be emailed to participants by December 13th.
   - On *December 18th*, the book swap will virtually begin at 9 AM and end
   at 8 PM. A book swap link will be provided for you to visit and cast your
   vote for your book of choice.
   - Each participant will be able to select up to two books (based on the
   number sent).
   - Books will be given on a first-come, first-served basis using the
   timestamp when the book was requested. The inventory will be updated
   throughout the event.
   - Your braille books will be mailed to you from the library.
   - Sit back, relax, and enjoy a good book!
