The Midwest Mountaineering employees reviewed 17 proposals and voted on what they felt were the top three. Please vote for one. Please vote by July 20th, 2017.

1. Voyageur National Park Alliance - to engage 40 volunteers over 2 days in September to collect 400 pounds of wild rice, sedge, and thrush seed to be redistributed where invasive cattails are being removed to reintroduce native species and restore essential wetland habitats. 2. Superior Hiking Trail Association - replacing the Split Rock River bridge on the Superior Hiking Trail. This bridge has been out for a year. People can't hike the Split Rock loop until this bridge is replaced unless they ford the river.
