Greetings, Metro Chapter,
It is once again time for the Summer tradition we 
know and love so much­the annual chapter picnic. 
We will once again be holding our get-together 
this year at Fuller Park (see below for 
directions). The picnic will take place on July 
29 at noon, and as always, it promises to be a wonderful time.
This year, to try something new, the chapter will 
be providing fried chicken as our contribution. 
For the rest, however, we need your help.
Debbie Hobson has once again graciously 
volunteered to coordinate the potluck portion of 
our picnic. As soon as you know what you will be 
bringing, you can email her at

Directions:
Bus options to Fuller Park:
Take an 18G to 46th and Grand and walk two blocks 
to the park which is on the southwest corner of 
48th and Grand. Taking an 18 from Nicollet you 
would walk five blocks west. You could also walk 
five blocks east from 46th and Bryant if taking a 
4. Another option is to take a 46 bus to 46th and 
Grand and walk two blocks south. When you get to 
the southwest corner of 48th and Grand, you will 
either pass the park community center building on 
your left with 48th street on your right. After 
passing that, you will find a set of steps on 
your left. Go up the steps and walk straight to 
the picnic area. If wanting to avoid the steps, 
walk south on Grand past the community center. 
You will probably hear kids in the waiting pool 
on your right. Shoreline the grass until you come 
to a path on your right. Take it up and around 
the swimming pool to the picnic area. Keep in 
mind that the 18G runs rarely on Saturdays if using that option.
