>Here are just some of the highlights from this year’s gathering:
>    * The bake auction was a tremendous success, bringing in exactly $4000.
>    * The casual dinner, which we hosted for the 
> first time this year, had 78 people in 
> attendance. For what it’s worth, I was going to 
> count us extremely lucky if we had gotten just 50 people.
>    * We had a dynamic group of presenters, 
> including the Lieutenant Governor and a speech 
> from Bev Stavrum that absolutely brought the house down.
>    * Judy Sanders has been elected as the new 
> president of our Senior Division, and Cody 
> Beardslee has been re-elected to the presidency of our Student Division.
>    * This year we welcome Dave Andrews to our state board of directors.
>    * We passed resolutions calling for 
> accessibility in autonomous vehicles and 
> commending Representative Karen Clark for her 
> decades of service promoting equality for the blind.
>We will have a full write-up in the next issue 
>of the Minnesota Bulletin with all the details, 
>and­hint hint­if anyone is interested in writing 
>about their experience, we could potentially put 
>it up on our brand new website.
