[MN-at-Large] Let's Celebrate!

Fellow federationists,

We're less than 24 hours from the kickoff of our 100th anniversary
celebration, which will take place from the comfort of your couch, your
kitchen table, or anywhere else you want to be. I am excited to gather with
you soon to commemorate a century of advocacy for blind Minnesotans.

A few things to note before we get this party started:

 

Three days of sessions

In the past, we've held general sessions on Saturday and Sunday. This year,
because we have so much to do, we're having three days of general sessions.
Our breakouts begin tomorrow at 2:00, and our first general session gets
under way at 6:00. You can find the latest information, along with Zoom
links, on our online agenda <http://www.nfbmn.org/convention/agenda> .

 

Auction Action

If you haven't scoped out the list of auction items
<http://www.nfbmn.org/convention/auction> , you should. Our auction
coordinators and generous donors have put together some wonderful items for
your bidding pleasure. Come help us raise money for our organization
immediately following general session tomorrow.

 

For technical assistance .

If you run into any difficulties accessing our convention over the next few
days, you can call one of our support volunteers for help. They can be

a message, and someone will call you back.

 

A virtual group picture

We're still collecting pictures so we can put together a virtual photo
collage of our members. If you have one handy, or if you take one on your

Share your experiences with the world

If there was ever a moment to brag, it's this one, and if there was ever a
place purpose-built for bragging, it's social media. I encourage you to
share your experiences and reflections on social media, and feel free to
direct people to the Facebook stream we'll be hosting. Just remember the
hashtag #NFBMN.
