[Mn-parents] Please Register for White Cane Safety Awareness Day

As has been mentioned previously on this list and at our meetings, there will be a White Cane Safety Awareness Activity on October 15 
at the Minnesota State Capitol.  The deadline for registering is September 30 which is fast approaching.  This event is sponsored by 
the Minnesota State Academy for the Blind, the Minnesota State Academy for the blind Foundation, several Lions' clubs, and the 
department of Education.  The NFB of Minnesota has also recently joined as a sponsor.

As part of this event, there will be a one hour walk to demonstrate that we can travel independently as blind people, and it would be 
helpful to have as many participants as possible.  Please be sure to register by September 30.  I hope to see you there.
