Well, if you can play by hearing something, then you should do it that
way, though I don't think it ever hurts to know music and to read it,
but in the end I would think you would have to memorize it.

Subject: [musictlk] new here and a question

Hi all

I am new to this group.

I am into music and stuff.

I am learning the guitar.

I do have a question.

don't know if there are any guitar players on this group or not but
I was wanting to know how they learn the songs. Do they put them in
braille the words and cords in Braille or do you just play along to an
audio cd or something.

One of the men who I practice with thought I should put the words and
cords in Braille.
I was talking to a blind man last night he said that would make things
difficault. like lot more information. and allot of work.

Braille does not work the same as print the way we read it.

I just wondered what your thoughts were.
