[musictlk] By Ear GVersus Reading Braille

Hi julie,

I believe I have heard of this musician, and will look for the CD. I
don't think I'll ever burn out playing gospel music, because there's so
many ways to play it, and do it well. Everytime I play a gospel number
I've played hundreds of times, I play it a little differently, even if I
don't intend to.

Nothing is lost, just the spirit dictating that slight, subtle
difference!

Thanks for the reference.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth, before you burn out on Gospel music, take a listen to Richard

Smallwood. He has a classical music background. My favorite CD of his
is
"Persuaded," with Richard Smallwood, Vision, and the Washington, D.C.
Symphony Orchestra. You may have to look for it for a while, but it's
worth
the search.
