[musictlk] looking for musicians

I am learning bass and am looking for other musicians to work with.
I have looked on craigs list for bands wanting a bass player but there is
not a lot posted in my area.
does any one know of any web sites that are jaws accessable where I can find
what I am looking for or post that I am looking?
the sites I have found when doing a search, I have found dificult to
navigate.
any help would be appreciated.
