Hi. Yes, in sonar, you can input bank/patch changes, meter and tempo
changes, and you can record things triggered via a control surface like
panning, volume changes, etc.

Christian, it is my understanding that Sonar developed out of Cakewalk.
If so, perhaps what is true in Cakewalk 7, which I am still using, also
holds true for Sonar.
In Cakewalk, you can have multiple bank/patch changes in one track. Once
you've set them, they run automatically as the track plays.
I really can't believe Sonar lacks this functionality that, as far as I
remember, has always been in Cakewalk.
