I have nothing against ear training etc as in fact I do play a lot by ear. 
However, in working out the solo sections to In the Dead of Night by UK or 
Isolartion by Alter Bridge it would be efficient if I could utilize the tabs 
already figured out byt other sighted players. I understand music theory as 
well as chord theory on the guitar and chords are not what I am chasing. 
(Hope by the Mahavishnu Orchestra I successgfully worked out and many of those 
chords are very unconventional) So I was wondering if there was a system to 
use those resources already thrashed out to catch the solo stuff as well as 
odd passages.
