Thanks. I have used guitar by ear for what I can find there and I have only 
recently explored talking tabs. Some of the things I am seeking are perhaps 
a bit more technical and unconventional that found there though they are 
still good resources. I was able to request a particular guitar by ear 
transcription with a solo by omne of my guitar influences, Allan Holdsworth, which 
gave me some good reference points and shortened the learning curve 
appreciably.
I was hoping there might be some conversion software that would allow tabs 
from the internet to be interpreted though.
