in that case i see why you need all 6 strings. i use all my 6 strings but on the time 1 breaks usually the e i can improvize. usually. 
 i remember when i only had 4 strings on my guitar once. i dropped it down so much in tuning i had it sounding like a sitar. 
 lol.
