Audacity is a great program to start on, but when you start learning
more and start getting into more complex projects, Audacity isn't
going to cut it. But definitely get a feel for that first... There are
a veriety of USB microphones you can purchase that sound extremely
professional, so you won't have to do to much tweequing out of the
box, except when you start getting into post production and all
that... Hope this helped.
