	In June, I strung my Martin D-35 with D'Adarrio EXP Lights ( 11.5).
While clipping the ends afterward, I caught the G string and clipped it off.
No one sold singles of EXPs, so I opted for the next best thing - Elyxirs.
The other day, I commented to a friend of mine that I had not broken a G
string since I began using the EXPs. (The G is the most commonly broken
string, as it is the lightest gauge of all the strings at the core.) That
very day, I was tuning my guitar for rehearsal and popped the G! a single
trial is not enough for most to consider evidence; however, it sure did
reinforce my desire to use nothing but D'Adarrio EXP. I am even going to try
the Extra Lights the next time, as these are what james Taylor uses on his
Martin D-35!
