[musictlk] flutes, and "virtual choir" CDs

Hi, Cameron,

Thanks for your feedback. It is getting late now, so I will probably
wait 'til tomorrow to do this, but I thought I could start by sending
you the link we have on the Mystic River Chorale's Members' Page for
the "Cantate", and see if that works. I know there are Midis out
there, but as you said, I choose not to use them, because my learning
style is so dependent on the words and music going simultaneously; I
have found the Midis helpful, however, in clarifying the few remaining
missed notes as you're winding down to the last weeks before a
concert, so not all is lost!

I went to see the Moodies last summer at Mohegan Sun, and it was even
better than the first time I went, in my teens; at that time, they'd
been promoting "Octave," so you didn't get much of the oldies. But at
last summer's concert (part of my 50th birthday present), they did all
the crowd pleasers-- "Higher and Higher," "Nights..." (of course),
"I'm Just a Singer...", "Ride My Seesaw" "Question..." I was surprised
that several of the tunes were familiar to my dad--he never let on,
before, that he knew them--so, that, too, made for a very good night.
It was quite an amazing week, in both good and bad ways--I went to the
concert on Thurs., and the following Mon., Robin Wiulliams passed
away--one extreme to the other.

I will close now, but, as stated, hope to get that link to you
tomorrow. Thanks again!

Sandra
