I still have difficulty knowing when they are moving or reading some of the other cues, as you do. There is a person who helps me, but she is not at rehearsal or at performances a lot of times. A few others help me from time to time, but they can get wrapped up in doing their thing and sometimes forget. A lot of the members are still getting comfortable with me, so may not be much help at this time. Welcome to the list. Keep us posted on your activities and progress.

The person who sat next to me this season gave me a lot of assistance which included helping me with putting print tabs on my music so she could help me find it faster, assisted me with tactually understanding the explanations our director gives for how our vowels should be formed, etc. However, she mentioned last night she might move to another section next season which means I would not be able to sit next to her anymore. Therefore, do you think it would be acceptable to ask the director to pair me with someone who would be willing to assist with the tasks I listed above? Since I can't just look at the director's mouth when he gives a clue, I need that tactile help. What do you think is the best course of action if she indeed decides to sing a different part? I'm comfortable with the part I'm singing now, so I don't really want to change. Any suggesations would be greatly appreciated.
