[musictlk] Pitch bend question

Normally, when you move the pitch bend we'll up-and-down, you get a beautifully perfect glide effect… Like bending a string on my guitar. However, there are times when I want the keyboard to sound more like I'm moving my fingers over the front of the guitar. Does anybody know how to change the function of the pitch been wheel so that we get Ben's in half steps? In other words, if I play a C The wheel up, I'd like it to not change the note until it reaches the D-flat, then not change again until it reaches the D. This would give us a very convincing guitar sound… Going from fret to fret to fret. Of course, you can simply play the three notes, but every time you play a new note the sample is re-triggered. This doesn't sound at all convincing, because it sounds like your strumming as fast as you're moving along the frets, which doesn't happen in guitar music. I know it can be done, but I don't know how. Do any of you know how to do this? Thank you!
