That's not true.
You're opening the door to judgment. They've never seen you. It goes without
saying they're going to judge.
If you think about it for two seconds: despite the fact that judging is
wrong, how could they not judge if they know beforehand?
Think about it for real.
Why wouldn't you want to have them evaluate you first and foremost on your
employability and your actual skills/what you can bring to their
organization?
Why would you want to be known as the unemployed blind person that needs a
job, rather than the job seeker with a college degree and skills/abilities,
who... Happens to be blind?
Why would you want to be known as blind girl first? does your disability
really define you that much before your other skills?
Also, from stuff you've discussed on other lists, your employment specialist
will tell you whatever they think will get you a job faster to get a closure
and get rid of you.
Yes, judgment will happen even if they don't know until the interview stage,
but I implore you to try it both ways. Stop letting others control your
thinking and being, and taking what your employment specialist says to be
gospel. There's only one of those, and I'm telling ya, it isn't this
individual. :-)

Oh I forgot to mention that I too have an employment specialist 
and that is not what I was told.  I was told to disclose when the 
interview is scheduled and I have confirmation of it so the 
employer knows ahead of time and they will be less likely to make 
judgements.
