[musictlk] trouble with rhythm

Thanks for the rhythm tips and reminders of the dots for whole notes G and B.  I thought they were the of and with signs.  Need to take Hadley's Braille music courses soon.  Will see if they will allow me to take 2 of their courses at once.

Hi Kelsey,

The G whole note is dots 1 2 3 5 6. The B whole note is dots 2 3 4 5 6. Remember, whole and sixteenth notes are eighth notes with dots 3 and 6 added. Your problem is that you are inverting them somehow.

The best way to figure out rhythm patterns is to practice reading them and counting them aloud. Go over that lesson again until you know it well. If you have trouble with fractions, you'll have trouble with rhythem.
