I've been playing by ear for over 50 years and currently I'm principal
trumpet with the Arion band in Frostburg and the Allegany symphony orchestra
in Cumberland.  I've been either principal or co principal player in just
about every ensemble I've been involved swith.  I've played in orchestras
band jazz bands big bands and jazz rock groups like Chicago etc.   I've
played lead in a big band and jazz in a big band.
