Marion,
 I found the app. And did a test recording. Closed the app, then went back
and found it. that works fine but is there a way to use that to send an
audio clip via a text message? I mean can you attach it to a text?

	I use Voice Memos to do this very thing. It is a resident app on iOS
devices.

I have an I Phone 5s and I want to be able to  record short audio clips to
either attach to a text   message or even to  keep. I am trying to record
short clips that I come up with when trying to write a song. 

Also to  text to someone things I  am practicing on the guitar to get
feedback as to if I am getting it right and so on. 

 I can record video clips but that takes up too much   resourse and the
files get too big to text.
