[MusicTlk] Greetings and link to the talent show, for anyone who's interested

Hi everyone,

I actually found out about this list after the convention, and for my very first email on here, I figured I would briefly introduce myself. I will keep it short no worries!
I’m Seyoon, and I had an honor and privilege to go to my very first convention this year. It was my first time and I could honestly say that it was the best! I currently live in St. Louis Missouri, still as a high school student, will be a senior this coming fall, and I plan to pursue in a field of either audio engineering, sound designing, education or psychology. So many things I want to get into but not enough time for all of them unfortunately. Performing arts is something that I admire as my hobby consists of listening to music and making music all the time. I’ve been playing the piano for about 13 years or so, briefly picked up an acoustic guitar at some point, and picked up the flute and later joined and are still part of my school’s marching band which I greatly enjoy being a part of. I’m also a video producer as a side whenever I have a spare time, which doesn’t very often unless it’s summer like this time around. I love connecting and networking with others, and hints why this convention gave me plenty of opportunities to do so, in fact I miss everything about it already. If anyone here is interested to know more about me, please feel free to add me on various social medias, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
So enough about me, I finally, and I mean finally got around to upload a video from Saturday night’s showcase of talent. I wanted to get this out to the world as soon as possible, but yet still almost took me a week to do so. I spent a lot of my time documenting moments from this year’s convention and figured talent show was worth capturing and sharing. I do want to apologize in advance that the only recording device at that very moment was my iPhone, so I will try to get a better setup as I would be happy to do this again next year. Also, I did this all on video and have been posted to my YouTube channel, so I would be interested to see whether I was pointing my camera towards the stage correctly from those who are able to see the video. I depended on the source of the sound as well as using SeeingAI to get a general idea of where I’m pointing my camera at, and left it rather stationary in hopes of getting decent results, so we don’t have black screen video this way and thus allowing people that are able to see the show are able to watch. Please feel free to share, and again, I highly enjoyed it and let me know if there are any comments are concerns related to the upload, as I know this isn’t exactly my work. I would have gladly performed on stage if I knew about this ahead of time, but I hope to be a part of this next year!
