[MusicTlk] Sonar vs Reaper

Charlie,

I cannot speak to Sonar but I can to Reaper. I use Reaper in my
studio along with the OSARA scripts. At $65 for the full version of Reaper
and the free scripts, it is a fantastic price and Reaper is a fully
functional, very powerful DAW. It is my understanding that Sonar with
CakeTalk would run several hundred dollars compared to the $65 for Reaper.
If you want to download reaper and give it a whirl, you can do so free of
charge. And it is the full version of Reaper, not some stripped-down version
that loses functionality as you use it until it is impossible to use.

Fraternally yours,
Marion

Subject: [MusicTlk] Sonar vs Reaper

Hi

Is Reaper a superset of Sonar or does Sonar have some advantages over
Reaper?

Charlie
