[MusicTlk] Perfect pitch question

Probably. A person who is tone-deaf can't make their voice match
a pitch played on the radio or an instrument.

An additional question (sorry for all my questions): Does pitch
have to do
with when someone says: "You're tone-deaf?"

That's an interesting question, Kathryn. I wonder if an
audiologist could
explain what's happening, or a neurologist if it's brain-based.
I'm blind from birth also and not quite as confident as I used to
be about
my perfect pitch. It may depend on how much your sense of pitch
has altered
and whether it seems to have happened suddenly or over time.
Maybe age or
other environmental things that affect hearing acuity are
factors. I hope
you can find help with this.

Jen

I am
also totally blind. The difference though is it has been
altered most
likely in my brain. This happened in 2014. I know nothing else
was
altered or including voices. Why do you think this is
happening? Would
there be anyone you would suggest I go to or resources I should
look
into to work with this issue? Thank you.
