[MusicTlk] Reading sheet music on a Braille Display

What do Ibos and SM Music Reader do? I've tried using SM Music Reader but it
wouldn't convert my pdf file for some reason. A lot of my sheet music is in
pdf so I need a way to convert that to brf or xml for the braille display.
I've heard a lot about Dancing Dots and their products. I live in Canada
though and with the exchange the software is out of my price range
unfortunately. I know there is a free trial but it's only for a couple of
weeks if memory serves me. I play music for pleasure just as a hobby not to
make a living so I can't afford to buy Dancing Dots at the moment. I've
taken a look at your website though and I have a rather large wish list if I
ever have the money for it.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Shannon

Hi Shannon,

If you are running Windows, you might be interested to evaluate the talking
braille score feature we call Lime Aloud combined with the GOODFEEL Braille
Music Translator. You can play the score back at any tempo and read the
braille music as it tracks in sync to the musical playback. Print score
also synchronized with playback for sighted users.
