Hello,
My name is Sandra. I am a Soprano Singer and a Braille Music Teacher.
In Bar Over Bar, bar numbers are used at the start of the line. For
example, if you have a page of piano music where four bars are given
at a time, bar 1 will have a bar number because it starts that line.
Bar 5 will appear next as numbered because it starts the next line.
While the righthand sign and lefthand signs will be in sync, depending
on what is going on in the music, not everything in the hands will
appear in exactly the same places, in relation to each other.

I haven't had much experience with lead sheets and tab. They tend to
have the chords above the relevant lyrics and it's done quite well, in
terms of layout so you're clear what to play when.

HTH,
very best wishes,
Sandra.
