[MusicTlk] Need some advice please

Dear All,

I actually own the FocusRite Scarlet 2i2 and use it in my studio. I purchased it about six years ago as a package with the Blue Bird condenser mic. The Bird is a pretty good mic for vocals but the jury is still out as to its quality for recording guitar. I am actually preparing to go into the studio after I write this message to record my first tracks for my Christmas album. I will share that recording later this week...I hope!

Peace!

The ME 80 lets you up date it? Wasn’t aware of that. Anyway, a basic two input audio interface would work. The Behringer 202HD is probably the best bang for the buck option but Focusrite, 2i2 and SSL2+ are good options as well. As for monitors the iLoud Micro monitors are small and doesn’t take up a lot of room and still sound great, but the Kali Audio Lp6’s and Adam T5 are other I hear great things about.

Hope this helps.
