[MusicTlk] Question regarding digital audio workstations, and software such as cakewalk

Hello,

I am new to this list and have a few questions.

I’m looking into a digital audio workstation and software to interact with it. I know a long time ago cakewalk used to be accessible with jaws. I am running a PC with Windows 11 and the latest version of Jaws. Can someone recommend a good digital audio workstation And software? Is cakewalk still accessible or is there something better out there these days?
