[nabentre] mlm is really a great thing

And in no way did I say that franchising was mlm. It is aanother way to do
business. It is no more ore less ethical than mlm, it is just another way.
Any form of business must constantly grow or they become nothing. You
either progress or regress. If this was not true, you would not have to
constantly be finding new markets, and do this while hanging on to what you
currently have.

In the example I gave, the training and trtraining is constant. You cannot
deny that. I do not know of a business of any kind that does not constantly
train its people. And to my knowledge, most mlm people will sell to you at
the full price. You need not become a member to save money while enjoying
our products. But most of the people I know, like saving money on things.
That's wy Sam's Club has members. And why is it that we will rave over
commercials for store we have no connection with while turning off our
friends?

>>>A recent post on this list referred to mlm as "BS". This is interesting
>>>on
>>>two counts. The first is that the person uttering this also has those
>>>same
>>>initials, "BS". I honestly doubt he was referring to his own initials,
>>>rather what is put out of a beef producing animal.
>>>
>>> We are all entitled to our own opinions, and what works for one, does
>>> not
>>> necessarily work for someone else.
>>>
>>> MLM goes by several names. But the long and short of it is to sell
>>> products to others like other businesses do. You also grow and expand
>>> your business by bringing others in with you. MacDonalds does this.
>>> KFC
>>> does this. Many different versions of 711 do this as well. They call
>>> their memberships franchise fees. It can cost you a million or more to
>>> join the golden arches. And before one can even obtain the rights to a
>>> spot, you must put several hundred thousand down in an escroll acount
>>> for
>>> many years and hope you get a location. Then you have all the other
>>> cost
>>> associated with getting started. Tnen you must train your employees.
>>> Many of these will be young kids who really could not care less about
>>> staying with you or whether you make a proffit or not. And they quickly
>>> move on down the road to someone else, and you must train all over
>>> again.
>>> And corporate takes continual fees and really does not care if you
>>> succeed
>>> or not, because, there will always be others to take your place. And
>>> yes,
>>> people do make a great living at these types of endeavors.
>>>
>>> In mlm, you have some similarityes and some differences with that other
>>> type of operation. Most of mlm type companies do sell better quality
>>> products than you can get in the open market place. IE, the quality of
>>> the nutritional and cleaning and personal care products one can obtain
>>> from Shaklee, (yes I do represent them, and I am proud to do so), are
>>> much
>>> superior to those at say your local wal-mart, that one really cannot
>>> compare them. Studies published in peer-reviewed journals can back this
>>> statement up.
>>>
>>> To get started in my company, is under $300.00 and this is not a month,
>>> it
>>> is one-time. As you build your company, you can put some of your
>>> earnings
>>> back in to the products you yourself wish to use. Your own use of your
>>> products gives you a continual building of credibility and belief in
>>> what
>>> you are sharing with others. As your sells and helping others to get
>>> started and succeed grows, your income increases. And yes, people do
>>> make
>>> great livings at companies like these as well.
>>>
>>> I believe where most people get confused is the lack of understanding
>>> about mlm being simple, not easy. Many believe the two are synonomous.
>>> I
>>> refer to Shaklee because that is what I know. And the concept is very
>>> simple. You make money in a few ways. But Shaklee, or any other mlm,
>>> is
>>> not a government social program. Your success is related to your
>>> efferts.
>>> For me the unmeasurable rewards come when I see a life changed because
>>> of
>>> what Shaklee and I can offer someone. Some of the results from our
>>> products are simply incredible.
>>>
>>> There is not one business in the world that can claim that every time
>>> someone sets out to do that business that they will prosper and succeed.
>>> MLM cannot claim this either. However, whereas other types do not want
>>> you to succeed, in MLM, you do not succeed, unless you help others
>>> obtain
>>> what they want. And if the values of helping others and making life
>>> better for your family are bs, then build me a mansion right in the
>>> middle of it.
