Dear Sir,

It appears to me that you can do this.
First, have all payments made to the company, in the company's name and go 
into the companyis account.
Then the company only pays you what you can earn , up to your earnings 
limit, and let the company pay for any of your benefits, such as medical, 
dental, a whole life insurence policy, transportation, etc,etc.
As long as you stay under the cap, you should be okay.
If the business is successful, there will come a point at which you may want 
to give up your protection and lose your benefits under SSI or SSDI.
By doing it this way, you could increase your "comfort" zone, until you are 
ready to make the leap.
You might even think about switching from a "sole Propriatorship" to an 
incorparation to limit liability and to make the sepration between yourself 
and the company clearer and less subject to question by the IRS and Social 
Security.
