Your best off building your own list. You can then make sure every e-mail
address has been double opt-in. If you were to buy a list, IMO, that would
boarder on spamming.

I'd like to market a service to farmer's markets across the  country. 
First off, are we talking a fine line between spam and actually getting the
word to potential clients via e-mail.  And secondly, has anyone  know of or
used, successfully, mailing list for e-mail  for any particular marketing
campaigne.
