Brandon there are 2 different types of Sales people out there. It is born in you and the ones that have to train to sell.
Speaking from experience. My dad was in sales for the Bell Phone Company then it merged to AT&T and then the split and split, now we have all kinds of Phone and cell, and other companies. He was in Management but never the less in Sales
>From there came myself in sales, from the time I could walk as they say. I was a girl scout, sold cookies, did paper routes, worked in Sales offices of all different areas from doing cleaning companies to working in the office of Health Insurance Companies, and my last job prior to becoming blind, I worked in sales but as an Administrative Assistant for the owner of a small electronic company here on Long Island, and also had to manage the sales team that worked all over the country, even after losing my vision, I am still in sales but with my own company as a travel agent.
My sister is also a manager of Sleepy's in Delaware, and now my daughter who is 3rd generation in my family has the sales in her blood went from being a day care worker is now in sales with a very large car care company having her own district here on Long Island.
And there's the ones who learn from going to school. Being a Sales person whether it is working at a fast food place, or on the phone, or owning your own business, you have to love it, and be a people person, emphasizing.
What I can recommend is going to school for business, if you are meant to be a sales person, you will find out in your heart and head.
I work some days from 6AM - 8PM, finding destinations for my clients, but finding the destination and selling it to the person is another story.
Learn the product first that you are selling inside and out, sell what you know and like, if you don't like what you are selling find something else to sell, or maybe it is the person selling the product. Not everyone is meant to be a sales person.

> Hello,
> I am wondering what is a good way for me to learn how to sell?
> I have been reading books on starting a business and everyone agrees the
