[nabentre] Mail: Build it Yourself

Hello everyone,

Whenever I created a mail component for a Website I avoided the
likes of Mail Chimp like the plague and built a mail service from scratch.
If I built it myself I know how it was put together and are in a better
position to teach end users how to use it. I and them will know for certain
that the E-Mail service will be usable by both and blind
users/administrators. Perhaps you can find someone with Website building
skills that will create a custom mail service for you. All the best.

Yes, with some things to keep in mind. I did need somebody in the beginning
to tell me what the screen was doing. For example, sometimes, when you hit a
choice that is suppose to bring up a menu, the menu would be in another part
of the screen than the link/button. The choices were functional though. Now,
I have no idea what to do yet. I need to, so I will be playing with it to
learn this new design.

When you say you were able to use it, was it accessible, usable and
functional without work arounds?

Mailchimp just went through a redesign. I use to be able to use it, and I
use it for my website, but with these new changes, I have to relearn it.

Hi,

What I can't get my head around at the moment, is creating campaigns. I
know I can import from Word etc, but I can't get my head around the template

language and dragging and dropping accessibly.

Thanks for any tips.

All the best

Steve

Mad Mimi or ConvertKit are accessible. I only have personal experience with
ConvertKit. It's more expensive than Mad Mimi or Mail Chimp though.

I am also very interested in this question as I am having a website
developed as we speak and I need something similar to mail chimp that is
accessible in case anyone knows any other alternatives.
