MLMs ar ea waste of time as far as I am concerned. All you are is a
glorified sales rep being told in what manor you can sell, and if you don't
meet the sales per month or trimonthly, they drop you like a hot potato.
For that matter, at least three of them are not eeven accessible, and I know
because I have sold for all three of those particular companies. If you
really want to sell products, the best thing to do is find a company that
gives you no restrictions on how to sell etc and also you want an
organization that does not treat you just as another glorified sales rep. I
have my own business, and thanks to the way the products I sell are setup, I
am on several websites as well as my own. Oh, yes there was a fourth
company that I sold for at one time, but their attitude toward blind people
stank.

Subject: [nabentre] Thanks For Slamming the Door On Opportunity!

Good morning everyone,

It's bad enough that we have a 75% unemployment rate among
the blind including blind entrepreneurs. We don't need jokers coming up here
and bad mouthing very success and legitimate business opportunities some of
which though they be MLM style opportunities are leaders in their field and
have achieved global recognission as such. Some of these businesses were
slammed despite the fact that some blind persons are very successful one of
which became a multi-million air in 1979 long before the Internet and other
business resources now available existed! I know because I was there and did
that and saw things 3evolve over the years.

Over the years we have attended large business conferences
like the one we'll be attending in 3 weeks. We have seen large numbers of
network members with other disabilities but few if any blind entrepreneurs
are at these gatherings. This is very shameful and something that must be
addressed if we're to create more opportunities for the blind. Keeping lists
like this free of false and misleading information concerning particular
opportunities will go a long way to correcting this sad situation.

We're glad that our particular network has a closed messaging service that
only allows members to exchange information freeing us from having to read
such junk and protecting the opportunity for all individuals including the
blind. Our only dislike is that it's not busy enough.

Peter Donahue
