Again, and iPhone will not work on VZ's network. It doesn't matter if you jailbreak it or not. It's just an other system and it is completely incompatible.
In any case, I think the original poster was talking about an LG phone, and given that he is currently with Verizon, the iPhone is not an option right now. Unfortunately I have never used any of the LG accessible phones, but hopefully someone knows more about them...
