[nabs-l] Alternative Service Trips to Louisiana

Hello Everyone,
Last year, I started an alternative spring break program at my college.
Students went down to New Orleans to aid in the rebuilding effort that still
goes on today. This year, we are doing two trips one in January to the
Louisiana Wetlands to grow shrubbery in order to rebuild the wetlands and
another trip to New Orleans in the spring.

I love the idea of service learning. Traveling to different places in the
country that need help, helping the, and participating in mutually
beneficial learning. If you would like more information about these trips or
how to make this happen for your school or organization please do not
