[nabs-l] Convention/Orlando Attractions Questions

Hi Everyone!

I hope it's okay for me to post this and that these questions do not
seem dumb or weird in any way.

As we all know, and are most likely getting excited for, convention in
Orlando, Florida is quicly approaching and will be here before we know
it!

I was wondering if anyone was staying after convention to partake in
any of the Orlando attractions, or going to Disney or anything like
that.

Here is my situation. My aunt and uncle live about three hours away in
Naples, Florida. They are going to come down on July 10 and we are
going to Disney for two days.

However, I have the day of July 9 completely free and to myself.

I would really like to enjoy the theme parks as much as possible and
so would also like to go on July 9 as well but don't have anyone to go
with.

So, I was trying to figure out what to do. What are my options for
July 9? What is everyone else doing? Would anyone like to get a group
together and possibly do something?

Should I try to plan something now in advance or should I just wait
until convention and see if I meet/run into anyone that wants to do
anything?

I hope these questions do not sound weird. I hesitated posting about
this but I figure if others post about roomates I'll go ahead and ask
about this.

Last year my big fear about convention was the size of the hotel, and
flying for the first time by myself. I am not nervious about that this
year, but this convention will be very different because most of the
people I hung out with last convention will not be attending this year
and it looks as if I'm going to really be on my own!
