[nabs-l] NFB training centers and guide dogs

Kirt and all,
 My suggesting would be  to consider getting a dog post-training.  I
wouldn't say that your skills need to be perfect, because I highly
doubt anyone's skills are "perfect".
 I would probably suggest that you have  the best possible  cane
travel skill-set you can,  in order to  be sure  that you are  giving
you and your dog guide the best chance of success.
  In general,  you are going to be asked to use your cane during
center hours  and official center activities, but you can use whatever
you would like to use outside of  those  times
