Your first problem might be because Jaws is set in laptop mode. If
you're using a laptop, that would make sense, since most laptops don't
have an insert key which forces you to use the caps lock as an insert
key. Try going into your Jaws basic settings and see if the keyboard
layout is set to desktop or laptop. I have no idea why its function
would be reversed though, that's a new one on me.
