My friend Kristen Lunceford might be able to see something about
the Japanese Braille because she has learned Japanese and teaches
Japanese students English. She has beeen a friend of mine since
midle school, and I've watched her progress in Japan, and it's
awesome.

I have also wanted to learn Japanese but, I have only learned
very little
since I don't know how to go about making the characters or
Japanese
Braille.

Perhaps we can come up with something together or maybe someone
else has an
idea of what to do.

What difference does it make to you. Why can't people just
answer the
question that was asked -- or if they don't have an answer then
don't
 respond.

Hi Lindsay.
If you don't mind me asking, why are you wanting to learn
Japanese?
Thanks, Joshua

Hi All,

I am curious as to whether there is anyone on this list who has
studied
Japanese. I am just beginning to learn the language, and am
curious as to
how others have learned to efficiently produce Hiragana and Konji
characters. While I believe I have made some progress in
determining how
to type Japanese using the language-specific input keyboard for
Hiragana
characters, I still have a number of questions for those who are
more
proficient in the language. Also, is anyone here familiar with
the
Japanese Braille system, and if so, how often do you use it? Any
tips/thoughts would be very much appreciated. i would be very
interested
in connecting with other blind people who know Japanese. Thanks
in advance
for any help!
Best,
Lindsay
