Beth, even Christians teach against being in too much debt.
This isn't the list for this discussion but I'll show you what Jesus
said about it.
"Owe no man nothing, but to love him."
In this verse, Jesus tells us not to get ourselves in a debt, that we
can't pay back.
I don't use this verse to preach against getting student loans though.
This is why I won't use a credit card, (hence the accessible currency
discussion on a different thread.)
