FYI, Blind, Inc. is in Minnesota. The training center in Maryland is
Blind Industries and Services of Maryland (BISM.) Please don't get the
3 NFB training centers and BISM confused—they are very different. I
will not go into details here, but you can read my article in the June
Braille Monitor if you would like more information on the differences.

Go, Denver! :-) Here's What happens first, I talked to my vocational rehabilitation counselor about why I needed training at an NFB training center. Of course, I also talked to my parents LOL! I am actually in the midst of the next process right now, trying to get all the appropriate paperwork filled out. Then I should be set to start up there in August, and I really can't wait to return to one of my favorite destinations! I have attended both the middle school and high school programs through the Colorado Center for the blind, and would strongly recommend it! I cannot speak for the Louisiana Center for the blind or blind Inc. in Maryland, I have not had any experience with those.
