Absolutely agreed.  I love my gmail account, but the least you should do for
security is to use different service providers (MSN, AOL, etc).
 Also, don't use the same password on all your accounts, and periodically
change them for security.

I just looked up the help files and agree as well; they're not very
accurate.  I don't know what your friend was trying to do with yahoo, but if
it's something that could be done with gmail, (which actually has pretty
useful help files specific to accessing the gmail with screenreaders such as
jaws), try that.  Yahoo just doesn't sound safe to me and the tech support
issue is kind of freaky.
