How do I use robo braille? How does it work?

Perhaps not, but voice over reads my pdf political science book as pictures, which Robo braille converts just fine. Whether they are pictures or not I don't know, but I know voiceover won't read it and if I have a way to independently get it in a text format without having to rely on help, that's all that matters to me personally.
